स्वर्णप्राशन के बारे में ग्रन्थों में लिखा है -
सुवर्णप्राशनं ह्येतन्मेधाग्निबलवर्धनम्।
आयुष्यं मंगलं पुण्यं वृष्यं ग्रहापहम्।।
- -स्वर्ण बच्चों की आयु को बढ़ाता है।
- -यह उत्तम पाचक है और यह विभिन्न प्रकार की एलर्जियों और रोगों के संक्रमण से रक्षा करता है।
- - शिशुओं में मेधा शक्ति और बुद्धि का विकास करता है।
- -शरीर का पोषण और वद्धि करता है|
Two methods of giving:
- Once every month for one year on Pushya Nakshatra. A calendar for the same is provided and one has to visit the centre every month.
- Second method is by giving specially prepared dissolvable tablets which can be given to the child at home. This can done every day for one to two months.
